The Polar F6 is easy to program, easy to use, and easy to read. You have the flexibility to follow the standard formula to program your heart rate "zone" or customize it. It even archives your workouts and tracks how many calories you burned in a given time period.
But the best thing is it keeps you alerted if your heart rate is out of your "zone" - either to pick up the pace or ease up - and that mazimizes the full benefits of an aerobic workout.
The lighted display is helpful for those early-morning jogs. And another nice feature is getting the time when you're in "exercise" mode: just hold the wrist receiver to your chest and the time appears on the display, and even illuminates automatically. Pretty cool!
